As CEO Michael oversees general operations, product design, consumer and education marketing, finance and public relations. Working with the SCC management team, he has steered the company toward profitable growth in its consumer and education markets.
Michael led the buyout of what would become Simulation Curriculum from Imaginova in 2008, and the subsequent acquisition of SkySafari from Southern Stars in 2013. He has held senior management positions at Imaginova, Mattel’s Learning Company and Mitsubishi Electronics. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University.
Seth has more than twenty-five years of experience working in software and multimedia production. Prior to co-founding the company, Meyers served as Vice President and General Manager of Imaginova Studios, a media and commerce company serving the intellectually curious. Previously, he served as President of Frontline Education Inc, a publisher of professional development and curriculum services.
He also served as Senior Vice President of Site Operations at Bigchalk.com, an Internet education company specializing in content aggregation and distribution, and as Director of Technology Development for the Education Group, Scholastic Inc. Earlier, he was President of a small multimedia CD-ROM development company. Meyers began his career as a software designer and developer at Children's Television Workshop (now Sesame Workshop) creating software based on the popular Sesame Street TV show.
As Lead Developer and Technical Director, Dave splits his time between writing code and managing the development of our growing suite of software products and online software consulting projects. Dave joined the former parent company, Imaginova in January 2001 as a junior software developer and became lead software developer in 2006.
He has experience with an alphabet-soup of technologies and platforms ranging from desktop application development, mobile, with a more recent focus on modern web application technologies. Previously, Dave worked for the Canadian Department of National Defence at their optical satellite tracking facility (SSRAL) at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston. Dave holds a degree in Astrophysics from Queen's University, Kingston, Canada.
